Forensic Accident Investigation Service is regularly instructed by major law firms and insurers.
David Price has been instructed in many civil litigation cases, generally those resulting in death or life-changing injuries. He variously acts for the Claimant or for a Defence party.
Normally a report adhering to Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) Part 35 will be produced. However, in the first instance a shorter report may be requested, particularly when it is not certain that a claim might be worth pursuing.
Examination and photography of items by optical microscope have been frequently carried out. However, where even greater magnification/depth of field of a failed component is required (and is appropriate), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) will be used. Structural examination, analysis, mechanical testing and x-ray examination can be arranged via accredited testing laboratories if required.
Please note:
- We do not accept instructions from private individuals, only from their legal representatives.
- Legally-aided (LAA) work is no longer undertaken.
